 Akhil gogoi is an  Indian peasant leader and RTI activist from Assam. Over the years he has been leading many anti-grafts movement in the state. Akhil Gogoi came to national attention after he was awarded the shamugam Manjunath integrity award in 2008 for his merciless fight against corruptions In 2010 he was awarded the Right to information award by public cause research foundation for the exposure of 12.5 million scam in sampoorna gram rozgar yojna in the golaghat district of Assam. This were some of his achievements for his merciless work for the people, he always wanted to help out people from traps by government so, that each and every people in Assam may live in unity.

Akhil Gogoi is the founder secretary of KMMS (Krishak Mukti sangram samiti) ,this is an organisation group formed by Akhil Gogoi to help the farmers especially, as farmer's don't get much benefit from government, this is the only organisation group which is trusted by majority people in Assam, because they don't use to mislead or manipulate people in wrong movement. Cause there motive is only to fight against government for there Right, When Gogoi use to call out people for a movement, it becomes uncontrollable for the government to control the mass gatheration. This was some information regarding Akhil Gogoi's background, why he is loved and trusted by many people, whole life he has been just fighting for the people's right.............

Akhil Gogoi has gained mass of people and popularity for opposing CAB (citizenship amendment bill) after passing of this bill which was later known as CAA(citizenship amendment act)  this was something serious which will be written down in the golden books of Assam, because during this movement each and every people had opposed CAA against government, this movement of opposing CAA was stopped due covid-19 crisis, it may be continuing in future days but now currently there is no progress in this movement. 

Now the time comes when Akhil Gogoi thought 💭 of justice for the people so, he introduced  political party in Assam known as "Raijor Dal" on 2nd October 2020 this was the day of joy for the people who support him a lot because they were seeing a changes.And he was nominated for MLA at sivsagar district in Assam, people were just on fire and they have worked harder and harder because during this time Akhil Gogoi was locked up in Jail and he could do nothing much inside from jail but people supported him a lot in campaign and in promoting the newly form political party in various places.

And everyone knows that a person who always wanted good for the people will be always a winner, as a result Gogoi won  by 12000 vote with a huge number in setting a record being in jail for long time. He is known to be as the first Assamese politician to win polls behind the bars.          "Huge respect to this man".
